Graham Norton- The Life and Loves of a He Devil  Rating- 4/5  I did enjoy this book however it took a while for me to get into it, but it did get better. I did really like this book and I would re read it as I liked Grahams writing style for me a good book is a book I can read in the authors voice and that was the case with this book. I overall enjoyed this book, it was one of the more funnier books I have read. I gave this book 4 out of 5 as I found it really funny and I could read it in the authors voice however it took me a while to get into it.  Jennifer Saunders- Bonkers  Rating- 5/5  I very much enjoyed this book, it was a very easy read another read that I struggled to put down. Like the previous book I could read it in the authors voice. I enjoy reading books about comedy actresses most likely because I have watched the majority of TV shows she has been in. This book also talked about her comedy partner Dawn French, her book might be next on my to read list. I gave this book 5

The Life Of Rylan- Rylan Clark Neal  Rating - 3/5  Review- I loved this book but there is a reason why I only gave it 3 out of 5 it was 4 out of 5 for the content itself however the quality of the book was a little odd the plastic layer that protects the colouring underneath started pulling away now I did just patch this up with some tape, I bought this book like the others from previous posts from Waterstones so I don't know if it was a Waterstones thing or I just got a dodgy copy but the cover aside I really enjoyed this book, more so the chapters about The X Factor I have watched several seasons of and I have seen a live tapping of the result show the year Matt Terry won. These chapters gave a different insight to the show and what goes on behind the scenes, the other book in this post talks about X Factor from a judges point of view which was also interesting to read. I loved this book it was nice to see how much Rylan had changed in the public eye since the early X Factor day

Into The Unknown :The Making Of Frozen 2 Disney + Review

Image
Review- This will just be a general review as it was only a behind the scenes documentary series but I have to say I really enjoyed it. I loved the Frozen 2 film so I knew I would like this series to some degree but I ended up binge watching the whole series in one sitting I was really glued, I really enjoyed seeing how the animation film process works and the second to last episode was my favourite as it featured the Frozen 2 D23 segment. I also did not appreciate the musical side and seeing the likes of Josh Gad and Idina Menzel singing as their characters was good to see, if you have Disney + you need to watch this series but I would suggest that you watch the Frozen 2 film first to give you an idea of the story, characters and songs. I would happily watch any other behind the scenes series that Disney are wiling to do as in my opinion they do not ruin the original animated film.

Hamilton Broadway Disney + Review

Image
Cast- Lin Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff and Philippa Soo Director- Thomas Kail Review-  No synopsis for this was it was a recording of the stage show. I have no words to describe how I felt watching this I had no idea it would give me the same feels the west end show did, I did forget over time as I have seen some amazing shows since such as Waitress, Frozen and Come From Away how amazing Hamilton actually is and it is in my top three best musicals I have seen. I will see this show again as I forgot how great it was and it made me want to see and experience it all over again. If you have Disney + watch it as it is just as good as seeing it live.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Unmasked Rating- 5/5 Review- One of the best books I have read, this book is perfect for anyone who is musical theatre obsessed. It was interesting to read about how he started out in the industry and how musicals such as Cats and Evita were created. I did not want this book to end, I felt a bit lost once I had finished this book as it had me gripped from start to finish so much so that I would happily read it again. I am going to struggle to find a book better than this as it was full of musical theatre magic and during this pandemic, it has been lacking however thank god for Hamilton on Disney +. I gave this book 5/5 as I was gripped from start to finish and I did not want it to end and would happily sit and re read it. Craig Revel Horward In Strictest Confidence Rating- 4/5 Review- I loved this book it was a very easy read it only took me two weeks to read as I was gripped from start to finish. I am a huge Stri

Eurovision Song Contest : The Story Of Fire Saga Film Review

Image
Cast: Will Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Dan Stevens Director- David Dobkin Synopsis- Two singers from a small Icelandic town have their eyes set on winning the Eurovision song contest. However scheming, rivals, high stakes test their bond. Review- I loved this film, it was such as funny lighthearted film. For all us Eurovision fans there were plenty of cameos from Eurovision stars and the medley of Eurovision classics was amazing. The soundtrack for this film is great, the songs are great and the storyline is also great. I loved this film so much it was a great film to watch during lockdown.

Top 7 Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals

Why seven you ask well I could not leave numbers six and seven off of my list as they were too good not be get a mention.     1.    Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat From memory this was the first musical I went to see, I believe the production I saw was the UK tour that went along with the TV show Any Dream Will Do? The winner of this show was Lee Mead but I seem to remember that I saw his understudy, I saw this at my local theatre. I think this is part the reason this show is at number one. Fact I never used to like Andrew Lloyd Webber shows Joseph being the only exception, only during this lockdown has his shows grown on me. This is because of two series of events firstly his Composer in lockdown series on his social media sites it started of as him playing piano versions of his songs such as Any Dream Will Do and Hosanna. Some of these piano videos were then used to make larger group virtual performances my personal favourites were Hosanna and All I Ask Of You

Sue Perkins Spectacles Rating- 5/5 What a joyous read, Sue Perkins writes like she talks I found myself laughing throughout. I had this book tucked away at that back of my shelves for a while just waiting to be read but I never got round to it, why it took me so long I have no idea as I am currently reading her second installment East of Croydon. I bought the second book almost as soon as I had finished the first. I think anyone would love this book just purely because of how funny this book is. I gave this book 5/5 as I enjoyed reading it, it was lighthearted and funny. Sue Perkins East of Croydon Rating- 5/5 This is her second book and it is a continuation of the first book and in my opinion it is just as good if not better than first one. This book is all about her travels across Asia as part of her BBC documentary about the Mekong River, her travels across India a part of a BBC documentary about India and about her travels around Va

Eurovision 2020

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic there was no official semi finals or final however there was a special lockdown programme along with two separate BBC TV shows. It has been said today that the acts for each country can compete next year but with a different song so I thought I would do like I always do each year and list the songs I enjoyed this year even if there was no winner or actual performances. 1. On Fire- The Roop (Lituania) 2. Hasta La Vista- Hurricane (Serbia) 3. You- Vasil Garvanliev (North Macedonia) 4. What Love Is- Uku Suviste (Estonia) 5. Release Me- Hooverphonic (Belgium) 6. Take Me As I Am- Tornike Kipiani (Georgia) 7. Running- Sandro (Crypus) 8. Alive- Vincent Bueno (Austria) 9. Don't Break Me- Montaigne (Australia) 10. Universo- Blas Canto (Spain) 11. Empires- Alicja (Poland) 12. Fall From The Sky- Arilena Ara (Albania) 13. Cleopatra- Efendi (Azerbaijan) 14. Kemama- Benny Cristo (Czech Republic) 15. Alcohol You- Roxen (Romania)

Karamo Brown My Story of Embracing Purpose, Healing and Hope Rating- 4/5 I would just like to point out before I get into my review that it takes a lot for me to give a book 5/5. I enjoyed this book more than I thought it would and it has given me a new found love for Karamo Brown. Again I think Queer Eye fans will love this book but like the JVN book it does touch on some deep subjects so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I was moved by this book and it really made me appreciate the culture role on Queer Eye. I almost found myself evaluating my mental health and well being whilst I reading. I gave this book 4/5 because I did enjoy reading this book I still preferred the Tan France book. Bruce Forsyth Stories of My Life Rating- 5/5 I thoroughly enjoyed this book one of the best I have read in recent times. I am a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan so this was the driving force behind me purchasing this book. I really enjoyed reading

Jonathan Van Ness Over The Top Rating- 4/5 For those who are unaware JVN is my favourite presenter on Queer Eye, I think he is hillarious and a great advert for self love and self care. I did enjoy this book however I did struggle in certain parts but I put that down to the fact that I was reading it whilst watching TV so my attention was between both the TV and the book. That aside I enjoyed this book but I would not reccomend this book to everyone simply due to the topics covered as some of them aren't for the fainthearted, Queer Eye fans will enjoy this book but I would read the chapter titles before purchasing, this was the reason I gave it 4/5. Tan France Naturally Tan Rating- 5/5 This is my personal favourite Queer Eye autobiography style book, I found this a really easy read and struggled to put it down as the stories and tales told were gripping. I think anyone Queer Eye fan or not would love this book. I really enjoyed the

I am re vamping this blog a bit more Disney content as I have purchased a years worth of Disney +, I was unsure to begin with how much I was going to use it but in the current state of the UK it seemed like the right time to purchase it and see what I think, I mean anything with the Pixar back catalogue has to be a good thing right? This is going to be a new series as I seem to be reading a lot more during this pandemic so I thought why not let the readers know what books I have been reading. This will be a list with a short review with rating out of 5. 1. Miranda Hart Peggy and Me Rating- 5/5 This book was both funny and lighthearted, I am a dog owner so I could relate to the majority of the scenarios she had written about. I think all Miranda Hart fans will love this book as it is a similar writing style to her first book Is It Just Me? I however do not think you need to be either a Miranda Hart fan or dog lover or owner to like this book. This book is a l

Riverdale Video Tapes

I thought as Riverdale season 4 is coming to an early close due to Covid-19 I  would do an updated run down about how I think could possibly be behind these video tapes. 1. Charles and Chic This seems the most likely based on episode clips as there was a scene in 4A where Charles was listening to Betty and Jughead's phone call in the Halloween episode. Also episode 6 Hereditary shows that Charles and Chic are in a relationship, also it is known that they are hiding something in relation to the body that was covered up in season 2 and re covered up in season 4 episode 6. I think the most important element here is that Charles works for the FBI this links to the clips I have seen from the ending of the recent Hedwig musical episode, from what I have seen there are two people dressed up as Bughead and wearing corresponding masks. I recon that due to Charles's FBI status he will know how to get Chic out of prison thus being able to help Charles make the video tapes, more specif

RE : Riverdale 4x17 Wicked Little Town

I think this whole thing needs to be discussed as holy hell the Twitter community is like a literal blood bath of mixed thoughts, feelings, emotions, and news. I think it is safe to assume that it needs to all be taken with a pinch of salt to some degree as I think some people are reading to much into it, to be honest. To catch people up to speed for those lucky enough to firstly not ship Bughead or Barchie and secondly not to have Twitter. An article was released by Entertainment Weekly either the day of or day after 4x17 was due to be aired but it was pushed back a week due to the current COVID- 19 pandemic. This article was a recap of the episode (don't go looking for it as it has since been taken down you can check Twitter for screenshots if you want), I did read the screenshots just out of curiosity and I was surprised and slightly annoyed, to be honest, as it basically stated that Barchie is happening now I will say that I am neither here nor there on Barchie however I person

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 16 The Locked Room

Synopsis- BACK FROM THE DEAD- Jughead and Betty confront Bret, Donna and Professor DuPont and unravel their plan to commit the perfect murder. Theories- As this was the last episode in the Jughead is dead storyline then there will be no more theories linking to this storyline however there will be theories linking to the videotapes as we can safely disregard Bret in terms of videotapes of the people’s houses as he was arrested for the attempted murder of Jughead and the sex tapes. I have already done a list of who I think is behind the videotapes, you can look back if you want to find out. Review- What an episode one of the best of season 4 so far maybe even the best, it was full of Bughead content and they were serving us detective realness. I liked how they wrapped up this storyline, however, I have seen people online saying how they would have preferred it if Mr. DuPont was arrested but I think him jumping out of the same window as Mr. Chipping was a good link and tie to

Riverdale Season 4 Episode 15 To Die For

Synopsis- Murder In A Small Town- Alice begins shooting a documentary about Riverdale and the latest mystery involving one of its own. Meanwhile, Betty, Archie and Veronica fall deeper into a web of lies as the investigation gets underway. Theories- I think that’s the Jughead ‘murder’ storyline over however I think out next road block is gonna be Barchie related for those who don’t know Barchie is Betty’s and Archie’s ship name. I think there is a likely scenario that links to something the showrunner said at New York Comic Con (NYCC) that he wanted to include some of the comic storylines now we know it most likely won’t be Souphead thank god however all signs seem to be pointing at the traditional love triangle from the original comics this love triangle includes Archie, Veronica and Betty. Now this is the only theory or conclusion that can be made in regards to the episode and what was said at NYCC. However it could be as simple as what went down towards the front end of sea

Riverdale Season 4- Episodes 1-14

In this post, I will be discussing, reviewing and giving my thoughts and theories on this season’s storyline of Jughead being dead or missing or whether the hell happened to him. I have watched the other 3 seasons and I think links can be made back to season 2 not with the black hood storyline necessarily but links can be made to events that happened during season 2 which the showrunner has confirmed will be answered by the end of season 4 this includes the letter FP had in his hand during the Carrie musical episode. Firstly let's discuss the episodes now I think all so far link to the Jughead storyline bar possibly 2 for obvious reasons episode 1 does not link as it was a stand-alone episode dealing with the death of Fred Andrews and Luke Perry. I also am undecided on whether episode 8 links to the Jughead storyline or whether it was just a stand-alone therapy episode which seems the most likely. Season 4 Episode 1 In Memoriam Synopsis- A Farewell To Fred Andrews- As
