Disney Islands Of Adventure Universal Studios

I have started to make Disney mood boards and I have been posting them to my Tumblr account but, I decided to post the ones I have already done to the blog.

Today was a great day as we did a mix of both Universal parks and I thought it was a great idea as I could avoid rides I disliked yay thank god. I loved the Hogwarts Express, a very clever idea, and it saves you going through turn stiles when you enter the other park. We had established a routine that hopefully we would stick to for the next few days. Our first ride of the day was One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, this is hands down my favourite ride so far at Universal. After getting some what soaked on the ride I was ready to take on anything the world had to throw at me. We also went on the trolly train ride in Seuss landing, I like this relaxing ride and also it helps to dry off the water from the ride before. We decided to watch the special effects show in the greek god section of the park, it was not an amazing show but it was not an awful show it was one I would watch again if i had to but I would not go out of my way to do so. As the two of them  become more and more successful in their careers they become faced with lots of difficult decisions that start to break apart their love and make their relationship turn more fragile. Their dreams start to take over which has a drastic affect on their relationship. Review I was thought that the start of this film was great and the song was amazing and it was setting up to be a great film. As the film progressed and we got to know the two main characters I started to lose some interest as it was jumping from one place to another which made it quite confusing. She is the village chiefs only daughter, her family come from a long line of navigators.  The islands fishermen are no longer able to catch fish and the islands crops are failing. Moana finds out that a demigod Maui has caused all of the disasters to happen, he did this by stealing the heart of the goddess, Te Whiti. The only way to bring the island back to normal is to convince Maui to return the heart back to goddess. With that in mind Moana sets off on an epic journey across the Pacific. Review I thought the opening was nice and very typical of most Disney films, and reminded me of Mulan in the way the story was told. Today was set out as a park free day, which seemed odd at first as you are in this theme park bubble full of movie goodness. We decided that today was the day we go shopping I bought a grand total of one item in our first stop Forever 21, I have ben to one of theirs shops before but this one reminded me of Primark, a massive jumble sale, I was not intending to buy much as I wanted park merch. We had Subway, it was no different to Subway here in the UK but I love Subway so it was fine by me, we also had a Starbucks, I personally think that our Starbucks in the UK are half hearted compared to  Starbucks here in thee USA. I enjoyed our shopping outing but I was missing the park bubble. On the way home  we went to our local Walgreens I like makeup and I knew what items I wanted to try but I found that there is a lot of crossovers than there was a few years ago. Day 2 Today we attacked a day of pool side reading and Universals Islands Of Adventure. I spent another day in paradise sat by the pool reading a book, again life was getting better by the minute. The sun was shining down, not a cloud in the sky the day was perfect. After I was told to leave my happy place, we set off to Islands Of Adventure, I had never been to this park ever, but I was told that I had been to the Studios park before. I was not sure what to think, as to my right was all things Dr Seuss and to my left was all things Marvel, I found it very odd. We choose the left option, the first ride of the day was the cat in the hat ride, it was crap really crap, another level of crap, never again should a ride like this be aloud to run. This ride was one of those rides where you ride the book/movie.
