Epcot

Back again are we? Well sit tight for this one as we are adventuring through my personal favourite Disney Park Epcot.

Arrival
There is a monorail that goes to Epcot from the Magic Kingdom ticket centre; also there is plenty of parking at Epcot near the entrance.

As with all theme parks you have to go through a security check and finger print check upon entry.
You enter outside the Spaceship Earth ride.
There are many different areas in this park more so than Magic Kingdom, if you thought Magic Kingdom had lots of areas we haven’t even gone over Epcot yet. The areas are The Land, Future World, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, South America, U, S, A, Mexico, UK, Paris and Japan. All of the countries as part of Epcot’s World Showcase.
Now I am going to list the must do Rides and or Shows in the park in the different sections.
Just a quickie not all of the countries have rides or shows.
The Land
Soarin
This is a great eye-opening ride great for the whole family. If you have ever seen the roller coaster vehicles where your legs and dangling then that is the type of cart deal, this ride it is an indoor ride you go on a trip in the skies visiting many different countries and famous landmarks.
Living With The Land
This is a very interesting ride and might not be so suitable for really young children as it is more educational than any other ride I have been on at Disney. You are in a boat and you see these sets of different ways we use the land in different places and then you go through the Epcot greenhouses and see the different ways Disney are growing different plants and making efficient use of the solar energy.
Future World
Spaceship Earth
Siemens sponsors this ride, and it is another very interesting and clever ride. You choose your language and for us English people you get Dame Judy Dench and your journey through time in a time machine to see how the past has helped the world we live in today and how what people did in the past can effect our future and also towards the end of the ride answer a few questions and it puts together a short video of your dream future, the booth on the time machine seats 2.
Test Track
This is a great ride and one of the best rides at Epcot. You create your own car and get ratings on different disciplines e.g. speed. You then use your magic band with your cars results on it and log into one of their mini screens and you ride a car doing different tests and it will tell you after each test who’s car was the best and at the end you will see which car did the best by getting the most points
The Seas With Nemo And Friends
This is a great family ride as you ride in a pod and go through the Finding Nemo film what I personally think is really clever is the projections of Nemo and friends is on glass and behind the glass is actual fish also if you have the time stop off at the Nemo aquarium at the exit to the ride.
Mission Space
This ride is great in the sense that it caters for everyone it has two different stimulators more intense and less intense, I have done both the only difference is you can feel the G-Force on the more intense version. You are in an aircraft and you get told commands for you space mission and you have to press the buttons according to what the mission control tells you, the aircraft seats 4 and each person has a specific role and buttons to press throughout the ride.
Now I will tell you what to do in each country I went to in order if I can remember.
Mexico
You need to visit their market as they have really pretty gifts.
Norway
 Frozen Forever After
This is the newest ride at Disney and you are taken on a wooden boat through the Frozen short Frozen Forever After and it also contains some of the songs from the original Frozen film. There are a few rapids but you will not get wet on this ride.
China
I would recommend you go to the Chinese restaurant as they do really good pot stickers or dumplings, as they are known.
Germany
You need to go into the Werthers originals shop as they do the best popcorn and sweets. Also you need to have food in the German buffet restaurant and at different times there is a band playing in the restaurant and they sing Edelweiss so what’s not to love.
Japan
They have a great gift shop in Japan that is really worth a look in as they have lots of Japanese anime merch and lots of stuff to do with Pokemon and there really nice snacks in this shop.
There is as with all Disney parks a fireworks show Epcot’s is one of the poorest ones as, there are decent fireworks but there is a globe that has moving pictures on it but you can hardly see the pictures and I found it rather boring.
What Rides Are Worthy Of A Fast Pass?
In my opinion all of these rides are worthy of a fast pass so the rides I have picked have been picked due to wait times.
You need to fast pass the Frozen ride, as it is new the queues are long the lowest I saw it go down to was 75 minutes so you need to if you can get a fast pass for this ride. Also Test Track needs a fast pass as it have about 40-60 minute wait times, another ride with similar wait times is Soarin so those two should be fast passes you need to consider booking.
What Not To Do?
Do not rush as you need as much time as you can to take it all in as this is a big park with lots of stuff to see so you will not be waiting for rides unless you are really stupid and wait in the standby queue for the Frozen ride.
Do not wait in a queue that is over 90 minutes long as the wait time will only increase instead why not go on a ride that is a 5-20 minute wait and come back to the other later.

This has been Epcot told my way next time we will discussing all things Animal Kingdom.
