Graham Norton- The Life and Loves of a He Devil  Rating- 4/5  I did enjoy this book however it took a while for me to get into it, but it did get better. I did really like this book and I would re read it as I liked Grahams writing style for me a good book is a book I can read in the authors voice and that was the case with this book. I overall enjoyed this book, it was one of the more funnier books I have read. I gave this book 4 out of 5 as I found it really funny and I could read it in the authors voice however it took me a while to get into it.  Jennifer Saunders- Bonkers  Rating- 5/5  I very much enjoyed this book, it was a very easy read another read that I struggled to put down. Like the previous book I could read it in the authors voice. I enjoy reading books about comedy actresses most likely because I have watched the majority of TV shows she has been in. This book also talked about her comedy partner Dawn French, her book might be next on my to ...

The Life Of Rylan- Rylan Clark Neal  Rating - 3/5  Review- I loved this book but there is a reason why I only gave it 3 out of 5 it was 4 out of 5 for the content itself however the quality of the book was a little odd the plastic layer that protects the colouring underneath started pulling away now I did just patch this up with some tape, I bought this book like the others from previous posts from Waterstones so I don't know if it was a Waterstones thing or I just got a dodgy copy but the cover aside I really enjoyed this book, more so the chapters about The X Factor I have watched several seasons of and I have seen a live tapping of the result show the year Matt Terry won. These chapters gave a different insight to the show and what goes on behind the scenes, the other book in this post talks about X Factor from a judges point of view which was also interesting to read. I loved this book it was nice to see how much Rylan had changed in the public eye since the early X ...

Into The Unknown :The Making Of Frozen 2 Disney + Review

Image
Review- This will just be a general review as it was only a behind the scenes documentary series but I have to say I really enjoyed it. I loved the Frozen 2 film so I knew I would like this series to some degree but I ended up binge watching the whole series in one sitting I was really glued, I really enjoyed seeing how the animation film process works and the second to last episode was my favourite as it featured the Frozen 2 D23 segment. I also did not appreciate the musical side and seeing the likes of Josh Gad and Idina Menzel singing as their characters was good to see, if you have Disney + you need to watch this series but I would suggest that you watch the Frozen 2 film first to give you an idea of the story, characters and songs. I would happily watch any other behind the scenes series that Disney are wiling to do as in my opinion they do not ruin the original animated film.

Hamilton Broadway Disney + Review

Image
Cast- Lin Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff and Philippa Soo Director- Thomas Kail Review-  No synopsis for this was it was a recording of the stage show. I have no words to describe how I felt watching this I had no idea it would give me the same feels the west end show did, I did forget over time as I have seen some amazing shows since such as Waitress, Frozen and Come From Away how amazing Hamilton actually is and it is in my top three best musicals I have seen. I will see this show again as I forgot how great it was and it made me want to see and experience it all over again. If you have Disney + watch it as it is just as good as seeing it live.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Unmasked Rating- 5/5 Review- One of the best books I have read, this book is perfect for anyone who is musical theatre obsessed. It was interesting to read about how he started out in the industry and how musicals such as Cats and Evita were created. I did not want this book to end, I felt a bit lost once I had finished this book as it had me gripped from start to finish so much so that I would happily read it again. I am going to struggle to find a book better than this as it was full of musical theatre magic and during this pandemic, it has been lacking however thank god for Hamilton on Disney +. I gave this book 5/5 as I was gripped from start to finish and I did not want it to end and would happily sit and re read it. Craig Revel Horward In Strictest Confidence Rating- 4/5 Review- I loved this book it was a very easy read it only took me two weeks to read as I was gripped from start to finish. I am a huge Stri...

Eurovision Song Contest : The Story Of Fire Saga Film Review

Image
Cast: Will Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Dan Stevens Director- David Dobkin Synopsis- Two singers from a small Icelandic town have their eyes set on winning the Eurovision song contest. However scheming, rivals, high stakes test their bond. Review- I loved this film, it was such as funny lighthearted film. For all us Eurovision fans there were plenty of cameos from Eurovision stars and the medley of Eurovision classics was amazing. The soundtrack for this film is great, the songs are great and the storyline is also great. I loved this film so much it was a great film to watch during lockdown.

Top 7 Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals

Why seven you ask well I could not leave numbers six and seven off of my list as they were too good not be get a mention.     1.    Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat From memory this was the first musical I went to see, I believe the production I saw was the UK tour that went along with the TV show Any Dream Will Do? The winner of this show was Lee Mead but I seem to remember that I saw his understudy, I saw this at my local theatre. I think this is part the reason this show is at number one. Fact I never used to like Andrew Lloyd Webber shows Joseph being the only exception, only during this lockdown has his shows grown on me. This is because of two series of events firstly his Composer in lockdown series on his social media sites it started of as him playing piano versions of his songs such as Any Dream Will Do and Hosanna. Some of these piano videos were then used to make larger group virtual performances my personal favourites were Hosanna a...
