Sue Perkins Spectacles Rating- 5/5 What a joyous read, Sue Perkins writes like she talks I found myself laughing throughout. I had this book tucked away at that back of my shelves for a while just waiting to be read but I never got round to it, why it took me so long I have no idea as I am currently reading her second installment East of Croydon. I bought the second book almost as soon as I had finished the first. I think anyone would love this book just purely because of how funny this book is. I gave this book 5/5 as I enjoyed reading it, it was lighthearted and funny. Sue Perkins East of Croydon Rating- 5/5 This is her second book and it is a continuation of the first book and in my opinion it is just as good if not better than first one. This book is all about her travels across Asia as part of her BBC documentary about the Mekong River, her travels across India a part of a BBC documentary about India and about her travels around Va

Eurovision 2020

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic there was no official semi finals or final however there was a special lockdown programme along with two separate BBC TV shows. It has been said today that the acts for each country can compete next year but with a different song so I thought I would do like I always do each year and list the songs I enjoyed this year even if there was no winner or actual performances. 1. On Fire- The Roop (Lituania) 2. Hasta La Vista- Hurricane (Serbia) 3. You- Vasil Garvanliev (North Macedonia) 4. What Love Is- Uku Suviste (Estonia) 5. Release Me- Hooverphonic (Belgium) 6. Take Me As I Am- Tornike Kipiani (Georgia) 7. Running- Sandro (Crypus) 8. Alive- Vincent Bueno (Austria) 9. Don't Break Me- Montaigne (Australia) 10. Universo- Blas Canto (Spain) 11. Empires- Alicja (Poland) 12. Fall From The Sky- Arilena Ara (Albania) 13. Cleopatra- Efendi (Azerbaijan) 14. Kemama- Benny Cristo (Czech Republic) 15. Alcohol You- Roxen (Romania)

Karamo Brown My Story of Embracing Purpose, Healing and Hope Rating- 4/5 I would just like to point out before I get into my review that it takes a lot for me to give a book 5/5. I enjoyed this book more than I thought it would and it has given me a new found love for Karamo Brown. Again I think Queer Eye fans will love this book but like the JVN book it does touch on some deep subjects so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I was moved by this book and it really made me appreciate the culture role on Queer Eye. I almost found myself evaluating my mental health and well being whilst I reading. I gave this book 4/5 because I did enjoy reading this book I still preferred the Tan France book. Bruce Forsyth Stories of My Life Rating- 5/5 I thoroughly enjoyed this book one of the best I have read in recent times. I am a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan so this was the driving force behind me purchasing this book. I really enjoyed reading

Jonathan Van Ness Over The Top Rating- 4/5 For those who are unaware JVN is my favourite presenter on Queer Eye, I think he is hillarious and a great advert for self love and self care. I did enjoy this book however I did struggle in certain parts but I put that down to the fact that I was reading it whilst watching TV so my attention was between both the TV and the book. That aside I enjoyed this book but I would not reccomend this book to everyone simply due to the topics covered as some of them aren't for the fainthearted, Queer Eye fans will enjoy this book but I would read the chapter titles before purchasing, this was the reason I gave it 4/5. Tan France Naturally Tan Rating- 5/5 This is my personal favourite Queer Eye autobiography style book, I found this a really easy read and struggled to put it down as the stories and tales told were gripping. I think anyone Queer Eye fan or not would love this book. I really enjoyed the

I am re vamping this blog a bit more Disney content as I have purchased a years worth of Disney +, I was unsure to begin with how much I was going to use it but in the current state of the UK it seemed like the right time to purchase it and see what I think, I mean anything with the Pixar back catalogue has to be a good thing right? This is going to be a new series as I seem to be reading a lot more during this pandemic so I thought why not let the readers know what books I have been reading. This will be a list with a short review with rating out of 5. 1. Miranda Hart Peggy and Me Rating- 5/5 This book was both funny and lighthearted, I am a dog owner so I could relate to the majority of the scenarios she had written about. I think all Miranda Hart fans will love this book as it is a similar writing style to her first book Is It Just Me? I however do not think you need to be either a Miranda Hart fan or dog lover or owner to like this book. This book is a l
